What would you call this relationship?

well i have this guy friend, and were real close. when we were lil, we dated. well we broke up, I didn't care, truthfully I wanted it to be over. after that we didn't talk much. It was awkward and we barley said anything to one another. eventually we started talking again... and it was a regular friendship i guess, but then we went on this school trip... we were on a huge bus and we were sitting next to each other and all most everyone was asleep cuz it was night-time. and somehow we ended up holding hands and "snuggling" or whatever. we almost kissed...and he asked me out again. I said no... Then we were sorta... TOO CLOSE friends. and one night when we were texting, he asked me if he kissed me what i'd do. we were almost friends with benefits... just not making out and stuff. well my friend started dating him and we were still acting up and stuff so I started to back down and we didn't rly talk for a while. well recently i started talking to him again. We aren't like the whole awkward halfway between friends and dating thing, but we do share all of our secrets... and he doesn't stop himself from telling me who he thinks is pretty (including me) and we will play truth and ask questions like "what is the most you'd do with me?" and he doesn't hold back what he thinks. what kind of relationship would u tag us as?
