I have a plan to go to Phuket from Bangkok, could you please tell me how can I find a cheap ticket?

go for the bus.you save the transit price from and to the airport which is 700 bhats.later you save your expenditur of two nites at the hotel.plus you save abt 800 bhats on ticket.bangkok to phuket=450 bhats and vice versa+650 bhats.don,t know why.buses are more comfortable than planes.really.....
