Does a co-signer have any legal rights to this truck?

My friends mom she has been with her boyfriend for 10 years+ and she reccently bought a truck she is the primary person and he is a cosigner, they are splitting up and she would like to take the truck back from him. We are in the state of Colorado. He hasn't been late on any payments or anything.
