Anyone else have hideous credit?

I am trying to get a cell phone, but unfortunately when I was younger I ran about bills from 3 different phone companys, filed bankruptcy on them and now I need like a $500 deposit to get a contract anywhere. I was going to get a prepaid phone, but its horribly expensive, you cant really text, and I dont was some ghetto tract phone. I also dont have anyone to add me to their plan so Im looking for suggestions!
