Money money money! Why do people have such negative opinions?

I'm sorry, but I just think spending $30,000 on a wedding is ridiculous. It's one day and in my opinion that's just screaming "I have money and I want everyone to know." Even if I was rich and could spend that much money on a wedding, I wouldn't. That's more than some people make in one year.
